What a world we live in today.
Those predictions of Muslim takeover of European countries seemed so very far away when they spoke of 2050. I would be 76 at that point, and too old to care. However, the numbers dug up here (hat tip to Gay and Right) are staggering! A majority of Russia’s army will be Muslim by 2015! That is like 7 years away!
The socialist plan to destroy itself looks to be coming up real soon. Promote abortion, destroy people’s concept of family as a unit to make babies and POOF! No more society!
What will it take to reverse this trend? What can society or even government possibly do to prevent what we call Europe, Russia, and even Canada from being bred out of the country? Do they want to do anything? How do you make people love and cherish children again? How do you explain to women that they have a unique role that takes precedence over any ordinary job or career a man could do just as well, to bear the next generation and raise it? How do you restore respect to motherhood?

You would NEVER get that idea past anyone in Canada. There are more than enough bleeding hearts who do not see the writing on the wall to make sure this does not happen.
Even if you did pull it off, it would but postpone the inevitable. Muslim countries would continue to grow at ferocious rates, the West would collapse on itself as social structures bankrupt themselves and the population profile inverts. Once the West is weakened and no longer capable of defending itself, Islam will simply revert to the good old days on horseback and invade. The day will come within a century when Islam will be able to field armies of millions of young men. They won’t need great technology to overrun shrunken, elderly armed forces in the West.
The only ways I can see for the secular West to reverse this is to engage in fascist policies. Either that, or turn back to the churches that built the West. A revival of such a grand scale, with people returning to the morality of the Bible and the love of family and children that it encourages would reverse the trend, but that would take an act of God.

The amusing thing as I see it is that these Muslims in fact share many of the same fundamental values that we Conservatives share. It is for that reason that in trying to defeat “evil right wing family values” the left is going to actually let itself be obliterated by right wing radicals, such as the religious extreme in the Middle East. I would tell you that while Canadians seem to like the idea of being defeated by Islam, all we have to do is look south of the border for inspiration.

Heh… it is not that I don’t care per se, but I will have precious little I am capable of at 74. Or maybe I will be a stud like Preston Manning. No… he’s only 64. Not over the hill yet.
What a lovely admirer I have. I wonder how much he will appreciate Sharia Law when it is implemented on his daughters. No… that’s right. It won’t be the end of the world… just the end of the world as we know it…

Canadians are reproducing at about the right rate for our population density. The problem is that so many other countries have too much offspring, and so they change the global marketplace’s demands on Canada. Fortunately, if/once we improve our immigration system we won’t have to worry too much about getting our birthrates up, and the other countries of the world won’t have to get theirs down as much. Then we just have to convert them to CFL, from cricket
